restart europe.

banner_eu.png

the european union is a democratic community in which
we can work together in order to design a future.

todays european union is a bit more democratic, just and efficient than some might think. this is what this graphic is all about. david jacobsen designed initiatively this logo by arranging twelve iconic symbols for exactly this europe.

feel free to share this graphic in your channels! if you want to become more active: simply print it as stickers, buttons, shirts or flags yourself! (it`s free for any reproduction  - there is no copyright protection or any licence agreement to it).

(from top clockwise: peace, right to vote, dialog, common market, health care, innovations, unity, smile, protest, gender equality, environmental protection and trust)

the alternative graphic for round stickers or buttons needs a written claim in order to be associated with the eu instantly. (you can easily replace the english version in the eps with a translated one in your own language)

humans

we are love, we are energy, we are alive, we are birth,
we are air, we`re on fire, we are water - we are earth,
we are warmth, we are growth, we`re a breath, we`re a cry,
we are pain, we are shock, we are cold, we are light,

we are trust, we are dreams, we are care, we`re a child,
we`re diverse, we`re a girl, we`re a boy, we are wild,
we are play, we are fun, we`re amazed, we are thought,
we are trust, we are groups, we are subjects, we explore,

we are vapor, we are waves, we are drops, we are trickles,
we are atoms, we are cells, we`re a cosmos, we are particles,
we are reason, we `re our rights, we `re in a story that goes on,
we are space in time, we are here … and will be gone.

3X3 numeric system (2018)

this decimal system for representing numbers was developed by david on the idea of hand writing numbers more intuitive and faster than for example writing latin numbers. the numbers 0-9 are represented by a small circle or points in a square unit that is build by nine squares - three by three.

it`s quite simple to learn and also pretty fast, but readability is definitely an issue. it could be of help to people with a motoric handicap or some sort of agraphia. (if you want to test the 3X3 numeric system  - you`ll find a printable template at the bottom of this section).
